Reading week at HANC

In honor of “Read Across America Day” and Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 2nd, HANC’s Samuel & Elizabeth Bass Golding Elementary School, in West Hempstead, launched “Reading Spirit Week,” a weeklong celebration designed and coordinated by HANC Literacy Coach Mrs. Dara Reiff.

All students and faculty wore red and white for “Cat in the Hat” day, crazy socks for “Fox in Socks” day, mismatched or inside-out clothes for “Wacky Wednesday,” pajamas for “I Am Not Going to Get Up Today!” day, and mustaches for “The Lorax” day.
