Torah animals are alive in Beit Shemesh

Posted

The animals described in the Torah come to life — many are literally alive — at the Biblical Museum of Natural History in Beit Shemesh, visited last week by Rabbi Aaron Feigenbaum of Woodmere’s Irving Place Minyan, his rebbetzin Malki and daughter Atara, a student at the Shulamith School in Cedarhurst.

Founder and Director Rabbi Dr. Natan Slifkin said the museum plans to relocate in a few months to a new and much larger building in nearby Har Tuv. He recently published the lavishly illustrated “Torah Encyclopedia of the Animal Kingdom.”
